Class: Sustainable Homes Professional Training Series by EnerCity Collaborative and Earth Advantage

EnerCity Collaborative in Partnership with Earth Advantage and PBDG is offering SHP training that allows participants to earn the designation of an accredited Sustainable Homes Professional (SHP). Enroll here.

This 6-week class will be held on Fridays 8am to 1pm, Jan. 10 through March 14th. 30 training hours total.

The SHP training program is custom designed for PBDG members who are residential building professionals looking to enhance their building science knowledge, add new skills to their toolkit, earn the SHP designation, and grow the energy efficiency side of their business. This includes:

Remodelers and Home Retrofit Contractors (HVAC, Envelope, Plumbing, Home Performance), Energy Auditors/Raters/Consultants, and Home Inspectors. 

The in-person SHP experience will feature:

● Classroom training with expert instructors

● An interactive environment for question and answer

● Guest speakers who bring their real-world experiences and expertise

● Activities that allow participants to put principles into practice

● Final presentation opportunity to share individual projects and learn from your peers

Mentorship support provided for those that want to take the next step in their business.

City of Portland's Public Works Procurement Day
